On New Year's Eve, a water pipe burst in the wall of one of our units in the middle of the night. Flooding was so severe we had to move our tenants into a hotel for almost 2 weeks.

Recognizing that the event happened over a major holiday, we were extremely pleased that North Star was able to come in and repair all the damage in a very expeditious manner. This included completely replacing the carpeting, ceramic tiles in the kitchen and both bathrooms. Plus the laminate flooring in the entryway and dining areas.

I am more than pleased to be a reference for Jon Graf and North Star Restoration. He handled everything brilliantly. I had a water line break under my home and he was able to get the entire driveway re-paved after all the damage from the plumbing. Once the initial claim was made, he dealt directly with the insurance company so I didn't have to. This took a lot of stress away from me as a single mom. His mannerism and professionalism far exceeded what I expected of a restoration company. He actually cared about the job and saw the whole project all the way through, even checking back with me after the job was finished. I appreciate him so much.

My home in St. George, Utah was severely flooded while I was on a 10 day vacation to Alaska. By the time it was discovered, the home was heavily damaged. The basement ceilings had all dropped, and the majority of the basement and upstairs had to be gutted and reconstructed.

Jon Graf and his company were involved from the moment they were informed of the event. They had removed the sheetrock, the carpet and the insulation, and were drying out the house even before I returned from my vacation. They inventoried our belongings and moved them to an off-site storage facility and they reconstructed about 70% of my home.

I enjoyed working with this company. They were very pleasant to work with and were very willing to work in the modifications, which I wish I had done when I originally constructed the home years earlier. I felt they finished this large construction project in an acceptable amount of time. Most importantly my wife and I were extremely pleased with the result.

This letter is to inform you of the professionalism we experienced with North Star Restoration, (Jon Graf).

We had a major setback of a hot water line leaking inside the wall for what we believe several months without detection. Jon and his staff went right to work on the bid and insurance work. Jon took the leg work out of a lot of the process for us by contacting the insurance Adjuster on our behalf to detail all of the remodel processes. Our entire kitchen, pantry, and water heater cubby all needed to be repaired/replaced. Jon was detailed in the work that needed to be done as well as made improvements and used suggestions we had. He also worked with us on our deductible to help us through this downfall. He got us set up in a Kitchenette big enough for my family of 6 to stay in during the two weeks time of not having water use during the remodel.

We have had to call him to our home on a couple of occasions to look at some things that were in need of repair. Jon or another of his staff would be there with the repair or answer to a question within the appointed time.  We were nothing but satisfied with the work he provided. In fact Jon received a recommendation from me for my Grandmother's rental home in which she also used Jon on a large fire loss.

While working for another company, Jon lead a team that completed a wonderful job on my secondary home when I had a major water damage claim. He and his team got right to work at night while I was over 300 miles away and immediately took steps to remediate the damage. I was very grateful for the work his team did to put my house back together while I was dealing with a Condo Association policy that had questions of coverage responsibility. In the end the claim was taken care of correctly and the work done by Jon was fantastic.
